Rotaro, a London-based fashion rental service, stands out as a female-led Cult Label that is on a mission to transform how we interact with fashion. With a strong commitment to minimising the environmental footprint of our clothing choices, Rotaro advocates for a significant shift in consumer behavior – from traditional purchasing to the innovative approach of renting. By embracing this ethos, Rotaro empowers individuals to make stylish and sustainable choices, reshaping the fashion industry one rental at a time.
Futerra worked with Rotaro to develop the in-store sustainability messaging for their first ever pop-up store on Carnaby Street in 2021.This included conceptualising how we would promote the messaging to encourage store visitors to engage with, and share it on social media.
The solution involved utilising surfaces within the store as to not unnecessarily print materials. We designed window and mirror decals and an immersive projection wall to promote as much interaction with, and sharing of these important facts and information about sustainable fashion.
